Damper actuators
Electric actuators for control, shut-off and fire dampers in ventilation systems. The actuator mounts directly on the damper shaft with a universal clamp, so installation is quick and no linkage is needed.

Types of damper actuators
Non-fail-safe actuators
CM, LM, NM, SM and GM series for 2 to 40 Nm – the standard choice for control and shut-off dampers.
Fail-safe actuators
TF, LF, NF, SF, EF and GK – on power failure they return the damper to a safe position by spring or SuperCap capacitor.
Fast-running actuators
Running times from 4 s for applications where the damper must react quickly.
Linear actuators
LH, SH and CH with 100 to 450 N force and up to 300 mm stroke.
Fire and smoke damper actuators
BF, BFL, BFN, BFA and BE for fire dampers and smoke and heat extraction dampers.
Actuators for harsh environments
RobustLine and G versions with IP66/67 protection for outdoor installation and humid or aggressive environments.
VAV airflow controllers
VAV-Compact, VAV-Universal and complete CMV units for airflow control.

Key damper actuator parameters
Torque
Based on the damper area and the damper manufacturer's recommendation. As a rule of thumb, allow about 5 Nm per 1 m² for standard control dampers.
Fail-safe function
Spring return or SuperCap where the damper must close on power failure, typically on the outdoor air intake.
Signal
Open/close, 3-point, modulating 2…10 V or communicative MP-Bus, BACnet, Modbus and KNX.
Switches and feedback
S versions have built-in auxiliary switches; modulating actuators report their position with a 2…10 V signal.
