Key sensor parameters
Passive or active
A passive sensor (Pt1000, NTC) is read directly by the controller; an active one sends 0…10 V or 4…20 mA and needs a 24 V supply.
Measuring range
On active sensors, the range can often be selected with a switch or via the app.
Probe length
For duct and immersion sensors, choose the probe length to suit the duct or pipe size. Thermowells are in the accessories.
Communication
Versions with BACnet, Modbus or MP-Bus save controller inputs and wiring.
