Pressure-independent valves
Valves that hold the set flow regardless of pressure changes in the system. There is no complicated hydronic balancing, and control stays stable at part load.

Types of pressure-independent valves
EPIV EP..R / EP..F
Electronic pressure-independent valve with its own flow measurement. Threaded DN 15 to DN 50, flanged DN 65 to DN 150.
EPIV 6-way
EP..R6+BAC-HH for heating/cooling changeover on terminal units, version with condensation switch.
ZoneValve PI C2..QP
Mechanical pressure-independent zone valve for fan coils.
PIFLV C2..QFL
Pressure-independent flow limiter without actuator.
Key parameters
V'nom
The valve's nominal flow must cover the maximum flow of the consumer.
Electronic or mechanical
EPIV measures and reports the flow; mechanical PI valves only hold it.
Signal
2…10 V, MP-Bus, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus RTU.
Pressure range
The minimum and maximum differential pressure is in the datasheet.
