Valves
Valves for controlling and shutting off water and water-glycol in heating, cooling and process applications. Belimo valves are designed for Belimo actuators, so a valve + actuator assembly needs no extra adapters.
Types of valves
Characterised control valves
R2.. and R3.. characterised control valves (CCV), threaded or flanged – equal-percentage characteristic and tight shut-off.
Ball valves
Open/close shut-off and changeover ball valves for isolating circuits and switching between heating and cooling.
Zone valves
ZoneValve C2..Q to C5..Q and 6-way valves for fan coils and chilled ceilings.
Globe valves
H4/H5 threaded, H6/H7 flanged and stainless steel H2/H3 for hot water and steam.
Pressure-independent valves
EPIV with flow measurement, ZoneValve PI and PIFLV flow limiters – flow independent of system pressure.
Energy Valve
A valve that measures flow and temperatures and controls the power delivered. MID version for billing.
Butterfly valves
D6 for DN 25 to DN 700 – control and shut-off of large flows.
Potable water valves
Ball valves certified for potable water systems.
Key valve parameters
Flow coefficient
Choose the Kvs by the required flow and pressure drop, not by the pipe size.
Size and connection
Internal or external thread, PN 6 / 16 / 25 flange. Pipe connectors for threaded valves are in the accessories.
2-way, 3-way, 6-way
2-way throttles the flow, 3-way mixes or diverts, 6-way switches between heating and cooling.
Temperature and pressure
Fluid temperature, nominal pressure PN and close-off pressure ps are listed in each valve's parameters.
